i own a 1.3 sxi+ cdti vauxhall corsa c and want to make the performance a bit better what sort of things can i do?

You can't - if you make modifications enough to change its performance significantly then you have to inform your insurance company. They will lump you more. If you don't tell your insurance company and have an accident, even if it's not your fault, they can render your insurance invalid. It is far cheaper (and safer) to buy a car with a better performance than it is to modify an existing one. Significant performance increases will mean you will need stronger transmission, suspension, brakes, possibly clutch etc - this costs a lot of money. Forget it.

All the power restritions are in the manifold for about £800 quid you can get dilbass manifold and sport cat thats the only way.

Get it chipped if it's a turbo diesel it will make quite a bit of difference.
I recommend superchips.

It's a tiny little 1.3 litre Fiat diesel engine - how fast do you think it should go?!?

tune your engine
get better brakes
better tyres
better suspension
make it lighter if possible
add a spoiler for down force
pretty much it and you will have a better all round car

if you want to go faster itsgoing to cos a lot of money but to be quicker will be easier try wheels ,tires,lower suspension and betterbrakes if you can turn and brake later you will be suprissed how much quicker you can drive

have a chip fitted in the ecu

replace the engine with one from a different car bigger engine size like a 2.3 etc that would make it fly
make it lighter
Better exhaust
tune the gearbox
ditch your passenger
etc
